Frequently Asked Questions - Prenatal Chiropractic
-
Yes. Prenatal chiropractic care at InnerLux is gentle and specifically designed with pregnancy in mind. Both Dr. Courtney and Dr. Taylor are Webster-certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
-
You can begin at any stage of pregnancy, but earlier is often better. We are not accepting new prenatal patients who are 34 weeks pregnant or later. Please call our office if you are 34 weeks or greater for more information.
-
Research shows that consistent Webster adjustments throughout pregnancy can reduce labor and delivery time and aid in postpartum recovery by creating balance in the pelvis and nervous system.
Frequently Asked Questions - Pediatric Chiropractic
-
There's no minimum age. Some families bring their babies in shortly after birth, while others start care when their child is older. It's also common to bring your child after a fall, during growth spurts, or after a sports injury.
-
Yes. Pediatric chiropractic care is extremely gentle and specifically designed for children — often using an Activator® tool or light manual pressure, without twisting, popping, or cracking.
-
Coverage varies by plan. We're happy to review your benefits and help answer insurance questions. Unfortunately, in most cases insurance does not cover chiropractic adjustments for children unless there is a pain complaint.
Frequently Asked Questions - Auto Accident Chiropractic
-
Yes. Many people don't feel pain right away after a collision because the body's defense mechanisms mask symptoms for weeks, months, or years. Research shows collisions at just 5 mph can cause whiplash and soft-tissue injury. Early intervention is critical.
-
In Colorado, most drivers carry Med-Pay coverage, which may cover your chiropractic treatment after an accident. Please bring your claim number and any attorney information to your first visit.
